Jennifer Ansted is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults, adolescents, and couples. Jennifer has experience working with a wide variety of needs and specializes in working with substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, and LGBTQIA+ related issues.
Jennifer prioritizes creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring difficult issues in a holistic and goal-oriented way. In sessions, Jennifer helps clients increase self-awareness and work toward goals that help them experience long-term fulfillment and empowerment.
Jennifer uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness.
