Sherrie Smith, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Sherrie Smith is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her master’s degree from Smith College School for Social Work. Sherrie has over 25 years of experience as a clinician working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Sherrie offers a safe, nonjudgmental environment in which feelings can be openly discussed and processed.
Sherrie uses an eclectic, person-centered approach to treatment supported by evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT and IPT, to address behavioral health issues. Areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and addiction. She uses an interactive, person-centered approach to decrease symptoms and promote growth. Sherrie works collaboratively with clients on their goals to empower them to continue with their growth and success beyond therapy.
