Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Angelika Kulyasova is a licensed clinical psychologist residing in San Diego, California. She specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families working through trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, substance use, and dual diagnosis (i.e., substance use + depression). Dr. Kulyasova brings empathy and collaboration into her work with her clients and believes that each client possesses the inner strength to overcome the challenges they face. Her practice is rooted in evidence-based, goal-oriented treatment. She uses techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and is certified in prolonged exposure (PE).

Dr. Kulyasova believes that successful treatment begins with a deep understanding of each client’s unique needs and perspectives. Dr. Kulyasova has received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from UW Stout University, and completed her Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the UW Stevens Point University.
