In creating a safe space in which healing and growth is possible, she believes in connecting deeply with her clients to explore unconscious beliefs and narratives that may have been adopted throughout childhood, culture, societal factors, relationships, and past experiences which may be inhibiting present day functioning and growth.
Cynthia is passionate about going beyond the managing of symptoms of depression, anxiety, etc. and works towards deeper awareness of the self to help clients honor their most authentic selves to create a life full of intention and purpose. Cynthia’s approach in working with clients is using a multi-faceted framework with techniques stemming from Trauma-Informed Therapy, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Interventions and Solution-Focused Therapies. She believes in offering a warm and person-centered approach, tailoring interventions to each person or families’ own individual needs to address challenges and improve overall well-being. Cynthia strives to hold space and deep understanding for each individual’s unique experience, with curiosity and compassion being at the forefront of each session.
