Dr. Roman-Laureano, is a Licensed Psychologist working in South Florida who genuinely believes in the capacity for humans to change, grow, and have a better quality of life. She graduated from Carlos Albizu University and earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Roman-Laureano has over ten years of clinical experience working with individuals, groups, couples, and families in English and Spanish and has successfully worked with depression, anxiety, health-related concerns, stress, substance abuse, sex offenses, difficult family dynamics, marital problems, and behavioral difficulties in children and adolescents.

Dr. Roman-Laureano has a unique interest in focusing on wellbeing rather than illness. She bases her work on Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Values Work, Brief Behavioral Interventions, and Mindfulness Meditation. She is passionate about her work and driven to care about the well-being of those she works with and the South Florida community.
