David Heard, PsyD

David: Dr. David Heard has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the past 40 years. After completing his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland he trained at the Philadelphia Child Guidance with specialty training in child, adolescent, couples and family therapy. In 1979 He moved to New Mexico to begin his Psychology practice. He has worked with older adults in a Rehabilitation Hospital providing assessment and treatment due to stroke, brain injury, auto accidents, dementia usually with co-morbid depression ands anxiety. He is an avid dirt bike rider for 50 years and also rides a big street bike. He and his wife raised their children and then adopted five boys who needed a family.
