Eleanor Beeslaar, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Eleanor is a Licensed Professional Counselor and completed her Master’s degree at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Throughout her career, she has worked in community mental health settings supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, severe persistent mental illness, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship challenges, substance use disorders, life transitions, and identity exploration.
Eleanor believes that you are the expert in your life and strives to co-create treatment goals that meet your unique needs. She uses an integrative approach to therapy, which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centered and Narrative theories. She also draws on Mindfulness-Based and Somatic approaches to help you understand your nervous system responses and learn to self-regulate. Eleanor aims to create a safe, non-judgmental and affirming space to empower you to build upon your strengths, engage in self-exploration, and connect to your authentic self.
