Emily is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a degree from the State University of New York at Old Westbury (2020). She has extensive experience in diverse settings, including private practice, schools, hospitals, outpatient facilities, and residential treatment programs.
Emily works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating life changes, relationship issues, emotional dysregulation, stress, and anxiety. She is trained from a multicultural perspective, recognizing the importance of culture, race, gender, and sexuality in her therapeutic approach.
Emily employs a person-centered and integrative approach, tailoring therapy to individual needs by drawing on theories and interventions such as CBT, ACT, relational therapy, internal family systems, play therapy, and exposure response therapy.
