Francesco Aprigliano is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned his Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from CUNY Brooklyn College. Francesco specializes in individual therapy with adults struggling with addictive behaviors, anxiety and mood difficulties, anger/stress management, and navigating life transitions.
Francesco strives to provide a compassionate, warm, judgment-free space and believes a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients is essential for growth in therapy. With an approach that is goal-oriented and reflective in nature, Francesco focuses on incorporating evidenced-based treatments in his therapeutic approach that are tailored to each individual and their unique needs/therapy goals. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) alongside the use of mindfulness and harm reduction based approaches.
