Dr. John O’Connor is a New Jersey licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience delivering psychological services to individuals, couples, families, and organizations. Dr. O’Connor earned his Doctorate in Psychology from Rutgers University; he also has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Columbia University. Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dr. O’Connor combines warmth, empathy, and caring with Evidence-Based Treatments for many of the issues people seek to address such as anxiety, depression, and marital and family conflict to name but a few. Dr. O’Connor also has expertise in working with individuals with Attention Deficit Disorder across the lifespan. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. O’Connor spent nearly 20 years operating a family business. Given this background, Dr. O’Connor can be particularly helpful for individuals struggling with work and/or career-related concerns that are contributing to psychological distress. He looks forward to the opportunity to work with new clients and help them achieve greater emotional well-being as well as important personal goals.
