Julia Masters is an Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her MSW from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and her BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
Julia specializes in helping teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, chronic pain/illness, academic/professional stress, and life transitions.
Julia believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone for an effective and positive experience in therapy. Julia draws from multiple evidence-based therapeutic techniques to tailor her sessions to each client and their goals. Julia utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and psychodynamic modalities in her work.
